Establishment
January 1151: In the 12th century Langkasuka was a tributary to Srivijaya, and around the 15th century it was replaced by the Pattani Kingdom.

Were a series of wars fought between Burma and Siam from the 16th to 19th centuries.
2.1.Burmese-Siamese War (1765-1767)
Was a war between the Konbaung Dnasty of Burma and the Ayutthaya Kingdom of Siam which led to the collapse of the latter.
April 1767: One hundred years later, Ayutthaya under King Ekatat (Boromaraja V) faced another Burmese invasion. This culminated in the capture and destruction of the city of Ayutthaya in 1767, as well as the death of the king. Siam was shattered, and as rivals fought for the vacant throne, Patani declared its complete independence.
January 1201: By the 13th century, the Old Pahang Kingdom succeeded to incorporate most of the Malay Peninsula including Pahang under its mandala.
January 1251: The founding of the Islamic kingdom of Patani is thought to have been around the mid-13th century AD, with folklore suggesting it was named after an exclamation made by Sultan Ismail Shah, "Pantai ini!" (pronounced as "pata ni!", 'this beach' in the local Malay language). However, some think it was the same country known to the Chinese as Pan Pan.
January 1268: Foundation of the Kelantan Sultanate.
January 1299: Ban Mueang and Ram Khamhaeng the Great expanded Sukhothai beyond the borders established by their father. They conquered the Mandala kingdoms of Suvarnabhumi and Tambralinga.
January 1302: In the 14th century CE, King Ram Khamhaeng the Great (c.1239 - 1317) of Sukhothai, occupied Patani.
January 1565: The 16th century witnessed the rise of Burma, which under an aggressive dynasty had overrun Chiang Mai and Laos and made war on Ayutthaya. With the decline of Ayutthaya's hegemony in this period, Patani may became independent temporarily.
January 1601: By 1600, the Ayutthaya Kingdom's vassals included some city-states in the Malay Peninsula.
January 1768: Kedah falls under Burmese suzerainty.
April 1782: Syburi (present-day Kedah) and Trengganu in Malaysia are conquered by the Rattanakosin Kingdom.
Disestablishment
January 1786: In 1785, a resurgent Siam sent an army led by Prince Surasi (Viceroy Boworn Maha Surasinghanat), younger brother of King Rama I, to seek the submission of Patani.
