Nectanebo I was a Pharaoh who ruled over Ancient Egypt from -378 to -362. During his reign, he successfully defended Egypt against the Persian invasion led by Artaxerxes II in 373 BC, known as the Second Persian invasion of Egypt. Nectanebo I also faced internal conflicts, including a revolt led by the native Egyptians in 373 BC, known as the Great Revolt. Despite these challenges, Nectanebo I managed to maintain stability and protect Egypt from external threats, leaving a lasting legacy as a capable ruler.
