Shebitku was a Pharaoh who ruled in Ancient Egypt from -712 to -705. He was a ruler of the 25th Dynasty, also known as the Nubian Dynasty. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and conflicts. One of the most important wars was the Assyrian invasion of Egypt, which occurred around -701. This invasion led to a fierce battle between the Assyrians and the Egyptians, resulting in the defeat of the Egyptian forces. Another notable conflict during Shebitku's rule was the revolt of the Egyptian vassal state of Ashdod, which took place around -711. This revolt was eventually suppressed by the Assyrians, further highlighting the challenges faced by Shebitku during his reign.
