Djoser was a pharaoh of Ancient Egypt who ruled during the Third Dynasty, from approximately -2667 to -2648. He is best known for commissioning the construction of the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, which was designed by his architect Imhotep and is considered the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. During Djoser's reign, there were no recorded wars or major conflicts, as Egypt was relatively stable and focused on internal development and cultural advancements.
